Sofien Kerkeni

Sofien Kerkeni is the founder and CEO of D-ICE Engineering, a deep-tech company pioneering advanced navigation and decision-support systems for the maritime and offshore industries. A graduate of Centrale Nantes in Applied Mathematics and Control Systems, he began his career at Sirehna, where he became a recognized expert in Dynamic Positioning (DP). He has designed and commissioned autopilot and DP systems for over 70 vessels, authored numerous scientific papers, and contributed to research on DP in ice conditions. Passionate about ambitious projects, Sofien is also a rugby player, trombonist, and reviewer for international scientific journals.
