Fisheries Innovation Network Event

Shaping the Future

The Fisheries Innovation Network (FIN) is the leading independent network for everyone who can contribute to innovations in the fisheries sector. With more than 180 Dutch members and a growing number of international partners, FIN brings together various stakeholders, from fishermen to shipyards, from suppliers to factories and from technical universities to cooperatives. Together, FIN works to find ways to tackle the great challenges of our time, such as the energy transition, maintaining and restoring ecological systems, ensuring a healthy diet for all, while at the same time maintaining a solid business case for our fishing industry.

On Friday 7 November, FIN will host an interesting knowledge sharing program, exploring new ideas, developments and solutions for sustainable and profitable fishing; from fishing vessel design and fishing methods to digitization, co-use of the North Sea, and new business models. Have you always thought of the fisheries sector as conservative and traditional? Find out during Europort and meet the resilient, innovative, and sea-hardened partners who will shape the future of the fishery industry. Admittance is free of charge for members of the Fisheries Innovation Network, provided they register before October 10th on the FIN website. More information will follow at a later date.
