Europort and the city of Rotterdam have signed a strategic cooperation agreement. This means that Rotterdam - the Maritime Capital of Europe- will  be the official host of Europort 2025. Rotterdam and Europort are established brands in the maritime world and share an equal vision when it comes to the industry challenges and opportunities ahead. Both have the ambition to lead the transition to a sustainable and innovative maritime sector.

 

Rotterdam has always exerted a magnetic attraction on pioneers and market leaders. The city has been announced as the European frontrunner in the 2022 edition of the 'Leading Maritime Cities of the World’ report launched by DNV and Menon Economics. Rotterdam plays a vital role in the North Sea Area and belongs to the world’s leading maritime & offshore hotspots. Within a range of 200 kilometres, Europe’s largest ports, offshore and dredging contractors, super yacht builders and shipyards are active, working closely together with high level research centers, equipment suppliers and numerous ship owners.
