Sarah Rollings

Sarah Rollings, a maritime professional, started her career serving in the United States Navy and currently works for Shell Marine to build out Shell's marine fuel strategy focusing on biofuels, LNG and bioLNG to enable shipping customers to realize their decarbonization targets.

Sarah served as a naval officer for 24 years including at sea and as a technical expert in heavy lift ship operations. She also worked for Sempra Energy during the engineering, construction and commissioning of two LNG terminals, and the commercial development for LNG export. Sarah joined Shell on conventional LNG projects and terminal assurance before taking over as Project Manager for LNG as a marine fuel. She and her team delivered multiple LNG bunker vessels and completed the initial LNG bunkering operations in Europe. Sarah's experience introducing a new fuel is invaluable in developing alternative future marine fuels.
