With so much data at our fingertips, how can the industry best extract its value? In an increasingly data driven society, the maritime digital revolution is moving full ahead. Reinventing the wheel: Wind-Assisted Propulsion
Goodbye temporary halls, hello state of the art conference facilities

The regulatory framework around emissions is becoming increasingly strict and wind-assisted propulsion could offer another route to decarbonizing shipping. Wind has been used to propel ships for centuries. However, the addition or use of sails and wind capture devices could significantly reduce greenhouse gas emissions by reducing a propeller’s thrust which would therefore reduce engine power and fuel consumption.

Yes, you heard right - the temporary halls are now a thing of the past following the recently completed renovations at the Rotterdam Ahoy Convention Centre (RACC). Exhibitors and delegates will now benefit from a range of state-of-the-art exhibition and conference facilities now available at the RACC. The renovations saw to the expansion of the space and included a new entrance hall, foyers, conference and breakout-rooms and an additional 3,100sqm hall, all of which have been fully integrated with the existing exhibition facilities.
