Op donderdag 10 november 2011 om 10:30 uur vindt de vierde workshop van de Advanced Technology Conferences plaats. Deze workshops worden georganiseerd door HME in samenwerking met Ahoy Rotterdam (Europort). Het thema van deze workshop is Offshore : ‘Solutions for a life time’.

The offshore industry is still a very booming industry and the maritime industry is following the trends eagerly. The requirements with regards to safety, environment are one of the toughest, and proposed solutions will need to last for a long period. Exploration into odd and unexplored places means new challenges to human and machinery. Specialists are needed to come up with solid and robust solutions.

In this workshop several initiatives with regards to long life and strong solutions will be presented as well as the latest offshore design vessels and equipment which allows deeper exploration and development.

The Offshore Workshop will start with a brief introduction about offshore vessels will be followed by presentations by leading industry offshore specialists and shipyards such as IHC Merwede. At the end of the seminar there will be a discussion about this interesting topic.
